This morning PSI was bad, 100+ early in the morning. the haziness makes one very lethargic and sian...though it did drizzled a BIT, but didn't reali help.
Today din go hospital wif mum. Her appt is fixed on coming monday 23Oct. Sweelay is bringing her there. Hope she gets it fixed and heal fast.
Saw 2day wanbao abt the man who commited suicide due to poverty and pple started contributing to the family after his death. Amounting to 150k. Very sad to see that help started only after someone's death. The society shd have taken steps to prevent such tragedies happen. The family did sought help from the MP but nothing was done to help the family. the outstanding school fees are now settled only after the death, why din anyone bother to visit the family to understand the situation? Why help only comes in exchange of someone's life? No amounts of $ can bring back the life of this man, and no amount of $ can exchange the happiness of a complete family. Yes, financially the family are taken care of but deep in the hearts of the family, this is the price of their dad/hubby's life. Very sad, isn't it.
Joel is a bit affected by the haze...not as energetic as before. He missed school yesterday cos he overslept. He woke up in the middle of the nite and couldn't get back to sleep. Actually, I was quite disappointed that he missed his swimming lesson again. You know, it's not easy for Joel to swim else where. The public pool forbids him to go the the big pool with the arm float on. Sucks! the middle pool is too swallow 4 him to learn to swim.
